Our Heritage
PT PRIMA MAKMUR ROTOKEMINDO was established on March 9, 1976, under the name CV. Prima Makmur, with its first facility located at Jl. Daan Mogot Km. 13.8, Cengkareng, Jakarta, Indonesia. The company initially operated in the plastic packaging industry, producing PP bags, and subsequently expanded its operations by establishing a small-scale printing division.
As the company continued to grow, additional production capabilities and machinery were progressively introduced, including Blow Molding and Extrusion Lamination divisions. In response to the company's continued business expansion, on May 26, 1988, the company officially changed its legal status to PT PRIMA MAKMUR ROTOKEMINDO.
In 1994, along with the growth of the Indonesian economy, the company experienced significant business expansion. The existing factory, covering approximately 10,000 m², was no longer sufficient to accommodate the company's growing production activities and operational requirements. Therefore, the company expanded its production facilities to a new location at Jl. Bitung Raya RT 08/RW 04, Kampung Bulakan, Kelurahan Bitung Jaya, Kecamatan Cikupa, Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, covering an area of approximately 66,331 m².
By 1997, all production activities had been fully relocated to the new facility in Bitung, Tangerang, with a total area of approximately 6.8 hectares. Along with the expansion of the production facility, the company strengthened its organizational structure and human resources, employing approximately 550 employees. To support the increasing production capacity and operational requirements, the company also expanded its machinery and electrical infrastructure, with an installed electrical capacity of approximately 2,044 kVA.
Throughout its development, PT PRIMA MAKMUR ROTOKEMINDO has continuously expanded its production capacity, upgraded its machinery, and improved its operational capabilities to meet evolving customer requirements and market demands. As part of its commitment to maintaining consistent product quality and customer satisfaction, the company implements a Quality Management System designed to ensure that its products consistently meet applicable quality standards and customer requirements.
Currently, PT PRIMA MAKMUR ROTOKEMINDO has a plastic packaging production capacity of approximately 1,500,000 meters per day. The company's products serve various industries and consumer product segments, including instant noodles, confectionery, snacks, coffee, biscuits, tissue paper, photocopy paper, and other related industries.
Through continuous improvement, technological development, and a strong commitment to quality, PT PRIMA MAKMUR ROTOKEMINDO continues to strengthen its position as a reliable manufacturer of flexible plastic packaging solutions and strives to provide products and services that meet the expectations of its customers.
